Locally sourced food and libations are my passion. They are superior when fresh and you experience where the beautiful food is grown and harvested. As a mother, nurse for 28 years and prior massage therapist, I care immensely for what we put in our bodies and our connection to it. I have an environmental studies degree and a Masters in Education. I love to share what I am passionate about. I am a super host with a 5 star rating and I have served breakfast and special meals from locally sourced products or foods that I have grown myself. I am a prior ambassador of NM wine for a local vineyard. I am a sommelier with intermediate certification with International Sommelier Guild and I am currently enrolled in the advanced course. I infuse my southern roots into the amazing diversity of New Mexico cuisine
We will discuss the menu ingredients and visit a local vineyard to taste local libations to pair with our meal. We will visit a local farm or two to gather any ingredients that we cannot harvest on site. These farms are not open to the public. We will prepare a meal together from locally sourced ingredients in my outdoor kitchen. We will share our meal together Al fresco. Each participant is expected to purchase a bottle of wine from the tasting to accompany our meal. The goal is that we all share and are able to pair a different wine with each course.
